Technical description of the "ceramic diffuser" by Mantec

It is a fine bubble diffuser designed for aeration in industrial facilities (drinking water, wastewater treatment, etc.).

Made from sintered ceramic material, this diffuser offers high mechanical strength and excellent chemical resistance, even in the presence of aggressive solvents.

The ceramic material also ensures good regeneration capacity: it can be cleaned with formic acid during use, by washing, by compressed air back-flushing after disassembly, or by calcination to remove heavy organic impurities.

Ceramic tube diffusers are usually mounted on a distribution pipeline (often at the bottom of an aeration basin), with centering rings and end fittings, held by a connecting rod. Available lengths typically range from 500 mm to 1000 mm depending on requirements.

Mantec also offers variants compatible with ozonation or adapted to aquaculture, in addition to conventional EPDM membrane diffusers.
