40 years of evolution in aquaculture and aquariology equipment

40 years is a company story… but above all, it is 40 years of observing, supporting and following the evolution of aquaculture and aquariology.

When CHF started its activities, the equipment available was, of course, nothing like what we offer today.

Over four decades, needs have changed significantly:

  • Increasingly efficient mechanical and biological filtration,
  • Optimised water pumping and circulation,
  • Precision oxygenation and aeration,
  • UV sterilisation, ozone and water treatment,
  • Protein skimming and organic matter management,
  • Feeding and automation systems,
  • Equipment for hatcheries and nurseries,
  • Solutions for Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS),
  • Instrumentation, control and monitoring,
  • And now, increasingly connected and intelligent equipment.

This evolution is directly reflected in our catalogue.

From barely 500 references when we started, our catalogue now includes more than 16,000 references and nearly 300 partners and suppliers.

Behind these figures is, above all, a commitment: to continuously provide more solutions adapted to real-world requirements.

Aquaculture, fish farming, hatcheries, aquariology, public aquariums, laboratories, RAS, aquaponics… applications have diversified, technologies have become more specialised, and requirements for performance, reliability, and water and energy efficiency have increased considerably.

Our role as a distributor has therefore evolved too.

It is no longer simply about supplying a pump, filter or diffuser.

Today, we need to understand the application, identify the most appropriate equipment, compare technologies and support professionals in making the right choice.

40 years later, our catalogue has grown thirtyfold.

And this growth ultimately tells us something much more important: the extraordinary evolution of water-related industries.

? 40 years of CHF.

? 40 years of aquaculture and aquariology.

⚙️ 16,000 references today… and still the same commitment: providing professionals with the right solutions.
