Ultrasonic level monitoring on an 18,000-liter reef aquarium
Today, we installed an ultrasonic level sensor to monitor real-time water level variations in this large reef aquarium.
Objectives:
-
Ensure stable water volume and a healthy environment for corals and fish.
-
Optimize the freshwater refill process to compensate for evaporation.
-
Prevent risks of overflow or critical low levels.
Benefits of ultrasonic measurement:
-
Non-contact technology, no interference with water quality.
-
High accuracy, even in demanding saline environments.
-
Easy integration into monitoring and alarm systems.
One step further towards smart and sustainable management of large aquariums!
