The Pilz-T aerator from LINN is a floating surface aerator with a submersible motor, designed to provide efficient water mixing and oxygenation for ponds and basins, even in winter conditions.

Operating principle

  • The submersible motor is placed below the water surface, allowing continuous operation even at low temperatures or in partially frozen water.

  • It drives a vertical propeller that propels water upwards, creating a water jet and complete vertical mixing.

  • This promotes dissolved oxygen supply, degassing of CO₂ and undesirable gases, and prevents thermal stratification in the water column.
