The Polaris OxyGuard is a portable dissolved oxygen meter designed for measuring oxygen concentration (O₂) in water.
It is widely used in aquaculture, laboratory work, environmental monitoring, and water quality control.
The device uses a galvanic-type electrochemical sensor that produces an electric current proportional to the dissolved oxygen concentration.
The sensor contains two electrodes (anode and cathode) immersed in an electrolyte.
Oxygen diffuses through a permeable membrane and reacts at the electrode surface, generating an electrical signal.
The signal is then converted and displayed in mg/L or % saturation.

The POLARIS is a portable oxygen meter. It is the best-selling model in commercial fish farming. This device is equipped with a new generation probe and microprocessor electronics. Due to its automatic calibration and automatic self-check, it is very easy to use. The POLARIS measures oxygen saturation in mg / l and % and temperature. All values are displayed simultaneously on the large backlit screen. The devices are extremely robust, waterproof, and floatable.
The POLARIS 2 with recorder, and optionally the POLARIS Link (P0012400) for data transfer to a PC.
