DY ceramic oxygen diffusers are specifically designed for the efficient diffusion of pure oxygen in aquaculture systems requiring intensive oxygenation. Their high-density microporous ceramic element generates a uniform cloud of microbubbles (100–400 μm), maximizing the gas exchange surface and providing outstanding oxygen transfer efficiency.
Designed for intensive fish farming, RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems), hatcheries, live fish transport, holding tanks and emergency oxygenation, DY diffusers rapidly increase dissolved oxygen levels while minimizing oxygen consumption.
The rugged diffuser body protects the ceramic element from impacts and ensures easy installation. The sintered ceramic offers excellent chemical resistance and a long service life, even under continuous operation. Depending on the model, the diffusers are fitted with an integrated non-return valve to prevent water from flowing back into the oxygen supply line.
These diffusers create a cloud of very fine bubbles (100–500 µm) that cover the entire surface area and provide a very high transfer rate at appropriate depths — approximately 30% at 1 meter depth. Made from inert ceramic with ultra-fine porosity. Recommended for a minimum water depth of 80 cm.
