PVC 1/2-Turn Valve (Quarter-Turn Valve)
A 1/2-turn PVC valve is a flow control or shut-off device that allows regulation of fluid passage in a pipeline. It operates by rotating a lever 90° (a quarter turn), enabling rapid opening or closing.
Made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), it is particularly suitable for freshwater applications, aquaculture, irrigation, water treatment, and low-pressure systems. This material offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and moisture.
The valve typically features an internal perforated ball (ball valve) that aligns with the flow in the open position and completely blocks it when closed. This system ensures reliable sealing and low pressure drop.
