UV sterilizer 1200 HDPE

AQUACULTURE FRANCE offers a complete range of UV sterilizers specially designed and adapted for aquaculture, fish farming, shellfish farming, aquariums, and ponds.

Our sterilizers contain no metal parts, making them perfectly suited for treating corrosive water such as seawater.

UV-C germicidal lamp sterilization destroys algae, fungi, and bacteria suspended in the water. UV sterilizers can be installed in-line on a closed circuit, at the site inlet to secure renewal water, or at the site outlet to ensure effluent compliance with regulatory standards.

UV sterilization is mandatory for shellfish purification units when shellfish are harvested from Class B production zones (Directive of July 15, 1991 – 91/492/EEC).

All options are available:

• Manual or automatic UV lamp cleaning

• UV sensor for continuous radiation efficiency monitoring

• Adjustable lamp power

• Automatic device start-up triggered by water presence

These devices can operate either as closed reactors within specific HDPE chambers or in open channels.

This UV lamp has a lifespan limited to 16,000 hours; beyond that, water disinfection is no longer guaranteed.
