The Leaf filter is an automatic screening system designed to efficiently remove floating debris such as leaves and organic residues in water intake channels. It is particularly suitable for aquaculture facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and industries handling surface water.
Operating principle
The Leaf filter uses a stainless steel rotary disc (AISI 304L or 316L for marine environments) equipped with a screening grid. Water enters the disc, which rotates at 4 revolutions per minute, capturing solid particles. When the pressure difference reaches a preset threshold, an optimized rinsing system cleans the disc, discharging the collected debris into a waste disposal system.
