EPDM membrane diffusers provide efficient and uniform air or oxygen distribution for aquaculture systems. Their micro-perforated EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) membrane generates fine bubbles that maximize oxygen transfer efficiency while minimizing energy consumption.
Designed for long-term operation, EPDM diffusers offer excellent resistance to corrosion, UV exposure and most chemicals, making them suitable for both freshwater and seawater applications. They are widely used in fish farms, hatcheries, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), quarantine tanks and water treatment facilities.
Available in disc, tube and panel configurations, EPDM diffusers can easily be integrated into new or existing aeration systems. Their low pressure loss helps reduce operating costs while maintaining high oxygen transfer performance.
Consists of a distribution tube covered with a perforated EPDM membrane. The 0.8 mm slits in the elastic membrane automatically close when the air supply is stopped, preventing water and contaminants from entering the diffuser.
Completely clog-resistant and highly durable, these diffusers are ideal for use in transport tanks and fish holding units. Not suitable for use with oxygen or ozone.
