A vertical multistage pump is a centrifugal pump composed of several stages (impellers or chambers) arranged vertically. Each stage gradually increases the fluid pressure, allowing the pump to reach high heads. It is designed for pumping clean (non-loaded) liquids and is ideal for applications requiring high pressure with moderate flow rates.
Type: Vertical multistage centrifugal pump
Orientation: Vertical shaft, inlet and outlet generally in-line
Materials: Stainless steel, cast iron, bronze (depending on the fluid)
Number of stages: From 2 to 20+ depending on the model
Typical flow rate: Up to 180 m³/h
Head: Up to 300 m or more
Fluid temperature: Up to 120 °C (depending on seals and materials)
Max pressure: Up to 40 bar
Sealing: Standard or special mechanical seal
Installation: Compact, vertical, ideal for confined spaces
Pressure boosting systems (booster)
Potable water supply
Water treatment installations
