The floating UV sterilizer is an innovative and mobile disinfection solution designed for aquatic environments such as ponds, channels, fish farms, and tanks without fixed structures. It stands out for its ability to float on the water surface thanks to a high-density foam support, allowing free positioning and easy maintenance without draining or interrupting the system.

The UV-C lamp used is a high-power amalgam lamp (available from 40 W to 200 W), enclosed in a transparent quartz sleeve that protects against turbulence, shocks, and fouling. It provides continuous water disinfection by effectively eliminating pathogenic microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, algae, fungi, and biofilms) without the use of chemicals, making it ideal for sensitive applications such as fish farming, aquaculture, or public aquariums.

The structure is made of 316L stainless steel, specially treated for corrosion resistance, ensuring durability even in harsh environments (saltwater, organic-rich media). The system comes with a 9-meter cable equipped with waterproof cable glands and a strain relief device, ensuring a reliable connection to the control unit.

In addition to its robustness, this system is compatible with a wide range of water flow rates and volumes. Its installation requires neither a flow chamber nor modification of the hydraulic circuit, making it ideal for renovation projects, temporary setups, or mobile structures.
