AQUATECTOR - Mikrofloat is an exclusive component of closed-loop or recirculating water systems
The Aquatector Mikrofloat is a device used in aquaculture, designed to improve water quality and fish welfare through a microbubble or nanobubble system. Below is a typical description suited for use in aquaculture settings:
The Aquatector Mikrofloat is an innovative microbubble diffusion system specifically developed for intensive and semi-intensive aquaculture. Thanks to advanced microbubble (or nanobubble, depending on the model) generation technology, it provides fine and homogeneous water oxygenation, promoting:
Better oxygen absorption by fish and crustaceans;
Reduction of organic load and suspended particles through micro-skimming;
Stimulation of animal metabolism;
Improvement of overall water quality (reduction of ammonia, CO₂, and pathogens).
The Mikrofloat system can be integrated into freshwater or seawater farming tanks. It is often used in combination with biofilters, RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems), or water treatment stations.
Bubble size: 20–100 microns (microbubbles) or <200 nm (nanobubbles depending on configuration)
Adjustable air flow
Optimized energy consumption
Fixed or mobile installation
Corrosion-resistant materials (suitable for freshwater or saltwater use)
Operating principle of the Mikrofloat®:
Microbubbles are produced using a patented method that achieves an unparalleled fineness (30-50µm) and are injected into the water. A dense and homogeneous cloud of microbubbles generates a very large interface between the phases, allowing in most cases nearly 100% separation of collectable and filterable substances down to the molecular size.
Advantages compared to other filtration systems:
Separation of the smallest particles down to molecular size
Continuous operation even when flow rates and concentrations vary
No periodic washing required
No rinse water needed
No clogging, ensuring high operational safety
Very high dry extract on the retained fraction
Application in aquaculture:
Water treatment in closed-loop systems
Main components of the system:
Pressurized saturation system, flotation reactor, extraction system, control unit.
