Technical Description – SPK-TG Valve

  • Type: Guillotine gate valve (sluice gate), designed to regulate or stop fluid flow.

  • Applications:

    • Stormwater, industrial/process water, pumping stations, treatment facilities

    • Acts as an emergency valve to prevent pollution downstream of roadways or infrastructure

  • Available Configurations:

    • Seat options for unidirectional or bidirectional pressure

    • Vertical outlet through the chamber wall

    • Optional convex flange

    • Non-rising stem for compact design and protection

    • Seamless structure for easy cleaning and maintenance

  • Materials:

    • Frame and gate in HDPE

    • Stainless steel side reinforcements (AISI 316 / EN 1.4404)

    • Guillotine and wall seals made from EPDM (Foamseal)

  • Sealing System:

    • Bidirectional tight sealing with embedded O-ring in the backplate

    • Integrated sliding track ensures 100% gate closure

  • Operation:

    • Protected non-rising stem for smooth actuation

    • Bearings and sliding components enclosed and pressure-lubricated

    • Manual, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation available

  • Performance:

    • Maximum pressure upon request: up to 14 psi (≈ 0.9 bar)

    • Standard water head resistance: 6 m H₂O (~0.6 bar) up to DN 800
